Self-Directed Residency
In 2014 BAG Art Camp was arranged as an informal self-directed residency. We offered a studio free of charge with views over the docks, city centre and mountains to an artist wishing to be based in Bergen for the summer. The invited artist had access to BAG’s facilities such as tools and electronic equipment, and a shared kitchen. After an open call London based artist Marianne Morild was invited for a one month long artist in residency during July. During her residency she worked on a project which focused on the landscape of Western Norway. You can see more of Marianne Morilds work here.
